We have had your kitchen cabinets for many years. They are very attractive, but the drawers have problems. The plastic device which attaches to the back of the cabinet and supports the metal drawer runner seems to be the weak point. We have had to replace several of them. At present I have three left side spare supports on hand. As fate would have it I need a right side support.
I would appreciate it if you would send me three or four right side plastic supports. I would also appreciate any advice you can offer to avoid these failures in the future.

I wasn't a big fan of ST JAMES {I loved the detailed on it that's why I bought it} until I purchased it back in 03 or 04 . Maybe because I didn't know there was a big collection. My bed set include comforter, 2 pillow shams and bedskirt. Around 05 I got my curtains, valance and 2 deco pillow shams. Then came the addiction LOL! I came across the bathroom set. Does anyone have or know where I can find the bathroom set for ST JAMES? I was looking for it last year came across it on EBAY but I didn't have an ebay acct so I couldn't get it. Now that I do I can't find it :(

Mrs Maurice and Lillian I found close to detail info RN21857 aka Grand Bahama, Isle of Palm leaf and Brazil. If your looking for the stores try searching for the product name then contact them for more info.

KLMurray..I haven't seen the KING SZ ST JAMES but Queen sz is available. The website is bedandbathoutlet.com is where I found the Queen sz. I'm still trying to look for ST JAMES fabric in case I can't find it. Couple of months back I found the fabric was kinda expensive per yard. I know it won't be the collection itself but hey its close to it right. Maybe you can try looking for it. Get someone or yourself to do it.

Margaret I couldn't find anything close to it. Try searching it on croscill.com or rhfashions maybe look for the fabric and contact them.

Linda Orchids & Narcissus is what its called if its the one your looking for. I found them on bedandbathoutlet.com

Julie I hope this helps. I found a few called Beaujolais, Jordan King, CASSIS/Chambord and BORDEAUX/Chambord.

Hope I help everyone! Your welcome!
Any info on ST JAMES..PLEASE let me know!

Thanks for the article. It made my job easier of choosing the modern furniture as I was moving to a new house. I would also like to add that one should consider the design and aesthetic aspects of their furniture in line with the color and the architectural decor of their living room before going for the contemporary modern furniture.

Evaluate your options like budget/shipment before deciding to buy from a physical store or an online shop.

Time and again Italy has been proven to be the heart of artistic creation. It has given many designers and one of them is Harry Bertoia. Not many know that Bertoia has been credited for creating the metal spine and leg of the famous Eames Dining/Lounge chairs. This was the major reason for him to split with Eames as he was not getting the right credit for the work he was doing.

His words, "If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them." gives a true picture of the creative thought process of Bertoia .

I was wondering if anyone has a nice big round patio table with a gas heater in the middle. I have looked on many web sites and no one has any. All of them are sitting on the ground, which is okay but I do like the heater in the middle of the table.

Some magnificent contemporary pieces were to be seen at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York.

These outrageous pieces weren't exactly suitable for everyday homeowner's furniture collections, but I had the feeling that many of these over-the-top items were prototypes - of what could become the new trend in contemporary pieces for the every day home.

In some weird way - I felt like I was in the midst of contemporary pioneers...
